Welcome to Mexico High School! The school year is off to a smooth beginning.
Mr. Charbonneau’s students are currently publishing The Daily Talkative. The Daily Talkative can be found on a link on the High School home page. The first issue began on October 15th.
Yearbook order forms are available in the Information Section. Order before January for only $50.00.
Also Senior parents, you can download a form to place your students yearbook baby ad --due before December 15th. Look for it in the Information section.
COMING IN NOVEMBER:
Love & Logic Parent Classes. Free for elementary parents, $8.00 for Middle & High School parents. See the flyer in the Information Section for more information and to sign up.
Congratulations to Mrs. Beth Sweeting’s Statistics classes. They were winners in Channel 9’s “Street Cents” competition. The classes came in 1st & 3rd and will be on News Channel 9 News on Monday, November 16th at 6:45 A.M.. Be sure and watch!
Also, watch for the “Spectacular Tiger” project that the MACS Art Honor Society students are working on. The tigers will be appearing at each of the schools in the near future. Congratulations on a job well done!
Lastly, we want to congratulate the students who were accepted into the NYS High School area All State Music Ensembles for 2009. These students will be performing this year on November 20th & November 21st at Oswego High School. The concert performance is Saturday, November 21st. Please see a complete list of these students in the Information Section of the high school website under “New York State Conference..”
Please offer your congratulations when you see these students.
SENIORS!! It is time to order your announcements and cap and gown. The Herff Jones Representative was at the high school this week. If you did not order your cap & gown, stop in the main office for a packet. Or, go to hjgraduation.com and order on line. Our representatives' name and address is also on the the website if you need to call him, he has an office in Syracuse.
