The Mexico Academy and Central School District Food Service Department cares about the food your children consume while they are at school. Our department strives to prepare meals and offer snacks that are both healthy and sensible.
The Mexico Academy and School District believes that one of the most important ways in which we can help our children perform better in the classroom is to provide them with nutritional food necessary for the healthy growth of their minds and bodies. Therefore, we provide breakfast and lunch in our schools every day.
The New York State Education Department (NYSED) audits our program once every five years. The Board of Health inspects all school kitchens at least twice yearly as mandated by NYSED.
