Saturday night the Varsity Football Team defeated arch rival Phoenix 36-6. The weekend was also Home Coming, Football Weekend, and Senior Night. The Mexico Offense rushed for 477 yards and passed for another 95 yards for a total of 572 yards of offense. John Eastman led the way on the ground with 15 carries for 265 yards and 5 Touchdowns.Tom Ladd led the way with many key pancake blocks. The defense held Phoenix scoreless through most of the game until late in the 4th quarter.
