My name is Mrs. LaBoda. I work with your child for Math for a 30 minute time period. During that time we practice skills that are necessary for daily use during their school day. I strongly believe that students learn best in a cooperative environment where all students' strengths are recognized. I also believe that children learn best when they are a part of the instruction, when they are active in learning. When students have the opportunity to move, and sing and teach each other, learning becomes more fun and easier. Groups are kept small in order to be able to give students as much attention as possible and maximize learning.
